Description:
------------
(extreme nit-pick)

oci_field_type returns 'VARCHAR' for a SQLT_CHR. It should more accurately return 'VARCHAR2' as 'VARCHAR' is deprecated.

The Oracle 10.2 manuals state: "Although the VARCHAR datatype is currently synonymous with VARCHAR2, the VARCHAR datatype is scheduled to be redefined as a separate datatype used for variable-length character strings compared with different comparison semantics."
