  --enable-session
  --enable-tokenizer
  --with-expat-dir=/usr/local
  --enable-xml
  --with-zlib=yes
  --with-apxs2=/usr/local/sbin/apxs
  --prefix=/usr/local
  i386-portbld-freebsd4.10

The reply says update the OS, but to which version? I need to ensure the dummynet works, would you recommend 5.4 or 6.0?

If you can reproduce this using FreeBSD 6.0, reopen.
