In php-5.1.0RC4 and the latest CVS snapshot,
configure --with-ldap fails on Solaris with a shell error:

./configure: test: argument expected

The fix is to change 'test -e' to 'test -f' in configure.

The Solaris 9 man page for 'test' notes:

  -e file
    True if file exists. (Not available in sh.)

This bug has been fixed in CVS.
