The PHP.net site only links to the entropy.ch web site (http://www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/php/) for installation instructions for PHP on Mac OS X.  (see http://www.php.net/downloads.php)

Apple provides excellent information for installing/configuring PHP in Mac OS X.  I believe that a link to Apple's PHP page would be an appropriate addition to the PHP.net downloads page:
