Since last week it has been taking about 2-4 minutes to 
load your home page (www.php.net) on Safari and Internet 
Explorer on my Mac OSX. I tested your home page on 
different Macintosh G4 running OSX and had the same issue. 
The delay load time is not occuring on Windows based 
Internet Explorer. It appears that you've added some 
scripting language that requires too many calculations and 
Macintosh based browsers are having problems with it.

Now, the front page should load fine, since we removed the new search suggestion feature. Could you please check the search page on one of the uptodate mirrors, and see if it loads slowly, or it works fine? One uptodate mirror is http://hu2.php.net/search.php

If you have not turned on search suggestions on the my php.net page, and you use a mac, it should not load the search suggestion code. But if you do turn on search suggestions, the 2-4 minute load time might come back (only on the search page for now). Some mac users reported this problem, but nobody else on other OSes, so this seems to be a general problem on Mac machines...

PHP.NET home page is loading normal now on my OSX browsers. 
Thanks for fixing this issue.

The link that you've provide "http://hu2.php.net/
search.php" with the new search suggestion feature is still 
loading slowly (2-4 minutes).
