In the documentation for function arguments (http://www.php.net/manual/en/functions.arguments.php), it describes arguments as follows:

Information may be passed to functions via the argument list, which is a comma-delimited list of variables and/or constants. 

I believe "list of variables and/or constants" should be changed to "expressions" as follows:

Information may be passed to functions via the argument list, which is a comma-delimited list of expressions.

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.
