Do you think that you could post with the installation guide some material on the extensions and their requirements?  I spend 2 hours trying to figure out why php_mycrypt.dll was locking up my webserver until I realized that I needed to download the binaries when I looked at the mcrypt function documentation.  This would be a very useful section of the installation requirements to help people get going.  I would be happy to contribute and help with this.

This already exists:
http://php.net/manual/en/install.windows.extensions.php

And before installing an extension, one should read that extensions documentation. This is how the manual is written.
