Description:
------------
My PHP.net still doesn't find my country, (see http://news.php.net/php.mirrors/25124).

I wonder if it would be possible to add the ability to choose your country, this would be nice for people travelling too.

You can decide on your preferred mirror and language separately. What are you missing?

The highlighting of local events. Being a newbie to the area, I don't know the area etc... same for anyone who is travelling to conferences and wants to know what other events (like PUGs) might be going on at the same time.

I have committed a fix to a possibly related bug, so it might start work later this day, as PHP.net updates. Please check back.

Nope, still not working @ 4pm EST on 'www', 'uk' or 'ca' mirrors.

I'm closing this bug because I have changed ISP and it now works so I can no longer be a test subject. Though up till I changed, my old IP address was still not detected.
