During ./configure I got error: 
"configure: error: libpng not found!" 
 
From config.log I found line: 
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-suse-linux/3.3/../../../../i486-suse-linux/bin/ld: 
cannot find -liodbc 
 
So I removed option --with-iodbc and this "png error" was 
lost.
