When using the functions require or include, the parse error msg will count in the lines of the included file and as a result doesn't help to locate where the parse error is in the php source.

This should be fixed by now.  If you're still experiencing a problem with 4.0.0 or later, please submit a new bug report, and include a small code snippet that reproduces the problem.
