sybase support in PHP doesn't provide functions available with other databases: sybase_error() and sybase_errno.
will they ever be added?

I've written a patch that does it. It is far from being perfect but I can send it if it helps.

there will be a sybase_last_error_message function in 4.0.5 (or some name like that.)
