Description:
------------
Hi, As I was using php more and more I decided to install linux, wich is the basic supported operating system for apache, php and all the rest. How surprised I was today when I wanted to download the php doc .. wich was only available in a non-linux friendly and hugly format .. CHM . what kind of a joke it is ? I ASK. Even xml would have been a way better choice. This is the first and hopefully the last brick that I'd trow to the php communauty. what's the next step ? ms wordperfect ? I think that this offline documentation is a shame to the great language that php is (I'm clearly not pointing the online refference tho).

h3

In that case, I'm happy to say you have no complaints about PHP.

The inavailability of other formats is a temporary problem which we're working on resolving.

As for XML availability, you can download the sources of the PHP manual (which are in Docbook XML format) from CVS.
