Description:
------------
On http://www.php.net/manual/en/features.file-upload.php there is an example 18-2, which mentions:

"// In PHP earlier then 4.0.3, use copy() and is_uploaded_file() instead of move_uploaded_file"

I find this quite confusing, because in the documentation of is_uploaded_file() at http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.is-uploaded-file.php it says:
"is_uploaded_file() is available only in versions of PHP 3 after PHP 3.0.16, and in versions of PHP 4 after 4.0.2."

So, for versions 4 earlier than 4.0.3, the example is wrong.

Everything is correct.
is_upload_file was introduced in PHP 4.0.3.

Then why does the example advice you to use that function in PHP earlier than 4.0.3? After all, it's not available below 4.0.3! Please check it more thoroughly.

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.

Thank you for the report, and for helping us make our documentation better.

Sorry, I've missed that. I've removed that note.
