I define a html form variable with type=input. I populated data into this variable before jump into a next php page.
I use echo command to display the value of the variable, but it is blank.
I set global registers to On in php.ini
I tried lot of thing but did not help.
Please help.
Thank you.

In PHP 4.2.0, the 'register_globals' setting default changed to
'off'. See http://www.php.net/release_4_2_0.php for more info.
We are sorry about the inconvenience, but this change was a necessary
part of our efforts to make PHP scripting more secure and portable.
