When downloading bzip2-compressed files from www.php.net, the server appears to be sending them as type text/plain. 

Mozilla attempts to display the file as text. Ick.

same with .pdb and .chm files (from http://www.php.net/download-docs.php ) as of 30 may 03

apparently, the primary mirror for php.net is hosted by WHT (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/ )

i'm not sure whom to contact about this, so i posted on the message board, and am awaiting a useful response
