To make some things running on our webservers work on our developing server to, I downloaded php4.3.0 from your webpage, md5sum'ed it and compiled it with apache1.3.17. System is SuSE 7.0 with glibc-2.2-9, libc-2.1.3-141. The way considered in the 'INSTALL' file.

'./configure' '--with-mysql' '--with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs'

Everything worked fine during compile and installation.

Every thing works fine. I can create directories, open, write and read files, also in subdirectories and all that stuff. But when I try to open a directory using opendir or dir I can't read it's contents.

Even with 'error_reporting = E_ALL' I get no errors for this. Bug?

And if that snapshot doesn't work either,
please add a short example of what you're trying to do.
I'm pretty sure you're just doing something wrong,
as opendir() & friends work just fine.
