New "feature" with automatic lang selection should be handled in more sophisticated way: I am Czech (Accepted-language: cs) but I read all manuals around the world in English and I do not want to read PHP manual in czech (btw many pages are translated purely). There should be a way to disable this "feature" (cookie?).

For what you use the accept-language setting? Why don't you set it to English?

That's not the point. Just face it: People want to read the whole PHP manual in english sometimes, an *still* have their default language setting on their national language. One solution : add a cookie that remembers the last chosen language. If I had the time I'd do it myself...

I am Czech so I do set my acc-lang to cs, en, en-us (in that order). I do not consider switching acc-lang to en and back only because php.net. BTW many czech servers use acc-lang as a part of charset negotiation ... It seems to me strange idea to force me to see czech pages when there is not reasonable translation.

If I'd have the time I would also do it myself. Maybe there is an even simpler solution for this user... Therefore I am asking...

I am on this...

PHP.net now remembers the last seen language, as well as it provides a user level setting for language selection (though it is not advertised yet). So this bug is fixed.
