Changing the asp_tags value in the php.ini or in the apache.conf by using
php_admin_flag asp_tags On does not work.

phpinfo() says that the local value is "On", but it ignores <%=  tags.

Changing the default value in main.c and recompiling makes the <% - Tags work again.

This seems to be working in the latest CVS. Resubmit if the
problem persists.
