When upgrading pear

C:\>pear upgrade pear
downloading PEAR-1.0.1.tar ...
...done: 395,776 bytes
failed to create \php\pear
The batch file cannot be found.

This has now killed pear

C:\>pear list-installed
'pear' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

I upgraded Archive_Tar to v1.0 just before this command

PEAR on Windows installation problems are being discussed in http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=21619. Closing this one.
