I am trying to include a file using the "include" function. The whole path name of the file is
"/web/shpe.stuorg.uic.edu/new.web/shared/header.inc" and the include path is "/web/shpe.stuorg.uic.edu".
The script I am using to reproduce the problem is

When I use a path with a leading slash, I get
