I'm not sure if this is a doc bug, a Windows bug or perhaps it's not an issue. Basically:

echo gmdate('T'); // date() could have been used

produces on Linux:

GMT

while on Windows:

GMT Standard Time

The same thing applies for other timezones:

EST (linux) -> Eastern Standard Time

This is an issue for a number of reasons:

1) The docs specify date('T') as producing only three-letter timezones (EST, etc).

2) This behavior may screw up things like setcookie() (where I ran into it)...
