Curl Version is not recognized as a valid version. configure want a curl Version newer than 7.9.8 ....(--with-curl=/usr/local/lib )
phpinfo of 4.2.3 shows correct Version information after installing the new curl libaries.

The path for curl should be '/usr/local' (without the /lib part). Not bug.
