I installed PHP using the Windows installer and then configured the registery and PWS following the instruction stated on the site. Then i created a samll .php file which would print the word "Hello world!" on the browser. When i specified the address in the browser for the file to be opened it gave me a messgae saying"

"Security Alert! The PHP CGI cannot be accessed directly. This PHP CGI binary was compiled with force CGI-redirect enabled. This means that apage will only be served up if the REDIRECT_STATUS CGI variable is set. e.g via an APACHE action directive."

Why do i get this error please help

Thanks
Manu
