I compiled PHP 4.3.0-pre2 with the congigure option --enable-safemode. While running "make test" I've got hundreds of Safe-Mode-warnings. Maipulating all php.ini's I've found on my machine didn't help. The only thing I was able to to was to run configure and make again without --enabnle-safe-mode, then make test worked.

I've forgot to mention that when running "make install" SAFE_MODE-warnings appear, too.
