I'm trying to determine if the latest cvs snapshot builds for win32 should have the php_crack extension. I would like to test this extension on win32 and am unable to find the binary in any of the latest distros. Something may be missing that triggers this to be built as an extension??

The library, CrackLib required by PHP's cracklib module does not work/compile on windows, therefor the PHP cracklib extension will only work on *nix machines.

Edin, if you want to add it to the automated build scripts, the necessary crack libraries for windows are available at http://www.dragonstrider.com/cracklib/.

There is already a project file in the crack extension folder.

The lib was already in there and it is part of the latest win32 snapshots:

I have to apologize then, i believe i downloaded the STABLE snapshot which obviously wouldn't have crack in it. Thanks so much for the quick response.

Edin, I must say you rock!

I'm glad that my port is at least available for people to use.

Oh, when I checked out HEAD this afternoon, the cracklib project (.dsp) was not included in the php_modules.dsw.  I'm not at a VC++ enabled machine right now or I'd change it myself.  If you want to go ahead and add it, or, it'll wait until tomorrow when I'm at work.
