Configured as
--with-apxs --with-mysql=/usr --with-openssl=/usr/local/ssl

No problems with configure, make, and make install, but apache (1.3.20) exits with 

undefined symbol: _ecalloc  when trying to load php4 module.

No similar problems with 4.2.0

Problem was with patching from 4.2.0-4.2.2.  Installed 4.2.2 from source without difficult.
