I configure PHP4 out of CVS with --disable-debug
When I type make, I get -g in the compiler command line
Shouldn't --disable-debug remove this flag

Execute

$ for i in . libzend TSRM; do rm -f $i/config.cache ; done

in the php4 directory and the effect should disappear.
