[1999-07-27 18:44 UTC] Simon dot Fisher at rsd dot co dot uk
Redhat Linux 6.0 (kernel 2.2.5-15)
Apache 1.3.6-7
PHP 3.0.11
MySQL 3.22.22-1

PHP configured using
    ./configure --with-apxs --with-mysql

Running almost any script that does MySQL operation (we're trying to get Neoboard running - a bulletin board system), causes the web server error log to get the error

[notice] child pid 7166 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

What we see at the browser is typically an incomplete page output.

I've tried to obtain a core file by running httpd -X but there doesn't seem to be one created when httpd crashes. I've followed your instructions for running under gdb but that gives and error "find_solib: can't read pathname for load map input/Output error".

Please tell me what else (other info?) you need and an email address and I'll send.

Hope you can help.

Thanks

Simon Fisher
