Using Apache 1.3.6 and PHP 4.2.2

./configure --with-ibm-db2 --with-apache=/usr/local/apache

The config script runs up to the point of:

Checking Apache 1.x module support No
Unable to find http.h under /usr/local/apache

I located httpd.h, it is in a sub-directory of /usr/local/apache specifically /usr/local/apache/include

Please read the installation instructions more carefully. When compiling a static php-module for apache, you have to supply the path of the apache-sources as in --with-apache=/path/to/apache-1.3.6/

Consult the INSTALL file in the php4-directory.

As a personal side note, I'd recommend to upgrade apache to the current release 1.3.26.
