Bug reports with the status "Won't fix" cannot be updated by normal users whilst keeping the same status. An error is returned saying "You're not allowed to change the bug to that status". (After the error is returned, the status of the bug report defaults to "Open", and the only possible statuses are the default ones I think.)

Apparently this has been fixed. (I can't reproduce this anymore)
