Similar to #1607. The solution used there (removing lines that were wrongly added during GD1.5 install) isn't the case here as we still use GD1.3. Should we upgtrade to 1.5?


configure --with-mysql=/ysr/local/mysql --with-apache=../apache_1.3.6 --with-gd=/home/bram/gd1.3 --withttf

Do this: make clean; rm config.cache: ./configure ....

It will fix it assuming the installed gd header files match the installed libgd.a.  Mirrored text
occurs when PHP thinks you have gd-1.2 but you link in gd-1.3 or vice versa.
