I've taken a look at what the promised features are for ZE2, and although excited, I'm a little nervous about the focus on OOP.

I may very well be missing something, but I'd like to see ZE2 include improvements to standard/procedural programming style as well. Where are typdefs, structures, macros? While OOP is certainly important, and gets a lot of attention lately, I think PHP should be a procedural language first, OO second.

Lastly, how would one implement a typedef'd structure? Please don't say create a class of just properties! I realize that associate arrays can be essentially structures, but then how would one typedef them?

Just some food for thought. Keep the great work folks,

Hans
