On set_time_limit documentation web page stands: set_time_limit() has no effect when PHP is running in safe mode. There is no workaround other than turning off safe mode or changing the time limit in the configuration file. which is false, becouse You may do: ini_set("max_execution_time", "any value") and it success even in safe_mode. I consider it as a bug. I guess this will work for memory_limit also. Raven
