I wanted to report a bug in the pow() function. Searching the bug database first to see if it had already been reported yielded no results. I searched on pow, pow(), pow(, pow% and got no results, despite the fact that there are bugs with pow in the description eg bug 16944. I suggest the search should also match substrings. Perhaps the MATCH()...AGAINST() function in mysql doesnt like the brackets () in pow()? So searching on pow will find bug reports that have pow() in them. Hopefully this will reduce duplicate bug reports.

Nah, the MySQL fulltext index stuff just sucks. But there's no real alternative. See #17391. Making this one a dupe because the 17391 has more info...
