I am using simple script with <? echo $HTTP_HOST ?>, it does echo nothing when installing version 4.2.0, it works as expected with 4.1.2 that i installed after (i am using mod-perl, so i tried apache 1.3.24 with/without mod-perl(1.26), same effect so i got earlier version of php)
am i missing something
(it is the first time i try php)
sorry if my mistake and if you are wasting time on it

The bug system is not the appropriate forum for asking support
questions. For a list of a range of more appropriate places to ask
for help using PHP, please visit http://www.php.net/support.php

It's called $HTTP_POST_VARS

Er..

It's still a support question, anyway start looking in $_SERVER (use phpinfo() to find such things quick).
