When php installed Static in Apache (1.3.23),
setting include_path in httpd.conf file dosn't take effect.

php take value of include_path only from php.ini

When php installed DSO - it's work.

And if you compile PHP as DSO? Does it then work?
Works fine here..

Erm... Sniper... are you still awake??? :)
"When php installed DSO - it's work."
But isn't it supposed to work with a static module too?

I was supposed to ask, what the configure line
for PHP was.
 [2002-04-08 02:26 UTC] vic at liniya dot ru
Configure line for PHP was:
./configure --with-apache=../apache_1.3.23rusPL30.11 --with-mysql --with-sablot=/usr/local/lib --with-gd --with-jpeg-dir=/usr/local/lib --with-png-dir=/usr/local/lib --enable-inline-optimization --enable-track-vars  --with-mod_charset --enable-force-cgi-redirect --enable-trans-sid --enable-ftp --enable-yp --with-dom=/usr/local --with-xml --with-dbase --disable-static --with-zlib-dir=/usr/local

Sorry, but I dont believe it ... I have this same setup for years, and never had any problem with include_patch from httpd.conf.
Are you sure you're using the correct httpd.conf?
Can you try a normal apache (not the russian version)?

I just tryed apache 1.3.24

'./configure' '--with-apache=../apache_1.3.24' '--with-mysql' '--with-sablot=/usr/local/lib' '--with-gd' '--with-jpeg-dir=/usr/local/lib' '--with-png-dir=/usr/local/lib' '--enable-inline-optimization' '--enable-track-vars' '--with-mod_charset' '--enable-force-cgi-redirect' '--enable-trans-sid' '--enable-ftp' '--enable-yp' '--with-dom=/usr/local' '--with-xml' '--with-dbase' '--disable-static' '--with-zlib-dir=/usr/local'

Problen still exist.

In httpd.conf I have line:
Include conf/sites/www2.lini-a.ru

in file www2.lini-a.ru - line:
php_value include_path "/var/www/www2.lini-a.ru/includes1"

in php.ini line:
include_path = "/var/www/www2.lini-a.ru/includes"

trying phpinfo()

include_path
Local Value: /var/www/www2.lini-a.ru/includes
Master Value: /var/www/www2.lini-a.ru/includes

Can not reproduce. Please check your configs and try newer apache+php.
