#when i try to set a default value to a text box like this:

<html>
<head></head>
<body>

<?php

$s="hello world";
echo "<input type='text'  value=$s";
?>

</body>
</html>

# this works but in the text box only apears the word 'hello' , all that is after the space is ignored, why?
