the probem is over windowsxp professional edition, using Apache 1.3.9 .

I follow the doc about installing php, but when i run the php.exe then appears the ms-dos window  in blank!!!.

Then i close the window and make the internet explorer load a php script: everithing i got is ONLY the HTML code, nothing of php.

Its Php compatible with Windowsxp?
