I clicked through to php.net from the output of a phpinfo() call in a script on my site, and proceeded through a few pages. I used the search function at php.net and, on the results page, it found some documents fine, but the links to those documents were NOT pointing to php.net - they were pointing to MY site!

One of the links was: 
http://www.sleepygeek.org/manual/en/ref.pgsql.php

Which should obviously have been http://www.php.net/-etc

Something to do with the http-referer header, I'd guess.

It is intentional. As many mirrors do not support search,
when you try to search on a mirror, it just redirects
you to here (php.net). Then the results must be displayed
on the mirror, as otherwise you would continue to browse
the main site, and lose your mirror.

There are many unofficial (eg. corporate intranet)
mirrors not listed in our mirror list, and this
feature is working for them too...
