Hallo,

I have a problem with the fsock-Funktions:

$sock = fsockopen ($ip, $port, &$errno, &$errstr, 30);
while (!feof ($sock)) {
  echo fgetc ($sock);
  flush ()
}
fclose ($sock);

This function hangs after correct output of the initial Data. (It seems that feof () ist false also on end of the $sock)

Or is there an other way to check if the end is reached?

By(t)e,
  Matthias

I have the same bug on RedHat 7.2.
Can I have a workaround for feof()?

Thanks

Thank you for taking the time to report a problem with PHP.
Unfortunately your version of PHP is too old -- the problem
might already be fixed. Please download a new PHP
version from http://www.php.net/downloads.php

If you are able to reproduce the bug with one of the latest
versions of PHP, please change the PHP version on this bug report
to the version you tested and change the status back to "Open".
Again, thank you for your continued support of PHP.
