I try to compile php 3.0.7 with support for adabas.
I used the following configure-line:

./configure --with-adabas --with-apache=../apache_1.3.4 --enable-track-vars

then i typed: "make"

The following output:

gcc -g -O2 -O2   -I. -I.   -I../apache_1.3.4/src/include -I../apache_1.3.4/src/os/unix  -I/usr/local/incl                            -c main.c -o main.o
gcc -g -O2 -O2   -I. -I.   -I../apache_1.3.4/src/include -I../apache_1.3.4/src/os/unix  -I/usr/local/incl                            -c internal_functions.c -o internal_functions.o

You have to give the path to your Adabas installation ($DBROOT) to the
--with-adabas switch, e.g. --with-adabas=/usr/local/adabas
