mssql_query has a bug that leads to unpredictable result when query returns a field of type "image", if you "set textsize" to more than 7.  That actually shows, that php_mssql treats fields of that type as numbers, instead of dumps, and that it could possibly cause much more than just a hang of a php instance.

I would love to get informed on how to get around this bug, if that's possible.  Thanks.
