I can not reproduce this with latest CVS.
Could you please try the latest snapshot from http://snaps.php.net/ ?

Sorry for sending the update this way but I didn't supply a 
password to the bug db so am unable to update it myself.  
The update to the 7.29.01 snapshot does contain a fix 
for the problem reported in the above bug reported.  Please 
change the status to closed/fixed. Cheers!
