I download the Windows Installer and try to install it on windows XP but does not wish to work.It installs and then if I go to try and view a php script it shows just the script text and not the actual document for an example:
<?php
phpinfo();
?>
Did not work at all, and I was wondering will PHP be fore Windows XP at all?

Thank you,
Lance Seidman

please give more information,
which webserver do you use, did you make sure that this webserver knows your file extension?!

First try news://news.php.net/php.install and/or news://news.php.net/php.windows before sending bug reports.

oh so your case might be the filename extension (php supported: php, php3, phtml) problem. Whats worse, you might be installing on the wrong partition of your hard disk. Check or do a search on the location of php.exe might help determine if the server was on the same partition
