A call to the mail function in the form:

   mail .....

will not send an e-mail. Using the following format:

  $something = mail .....

will send the e-mail correctly.

I've encoutered this problem using the free web hosting provided by www.f2s.com, who are using Debian Linux.

It happens the same to me when the mail server is running qmail, no matter the os.

Please upgrade to a newer version and see if the problem still exists.

Problem still there...
Unresolved.. Tried to find bugs in Redhat Linux, sendmail..
But NOPE.. Can send mail, but not through PHP..
Tried to upgrade too...
