dbase_replace_record() can not replace what you want but NULL. why?

that's not enough information. How about a sample script? And a sample *small* dbf file you are working with? (please mait that one to me privately, if you can - vlad@php.net)

This should be fixed in CVS.
Try a snapshot build from http://www.php4win.com/
and reopen with more information if still does not work.
