Identical problem as Bug#10612.

I installed the CVS php4-200105030445 and still have the same problem.

Your help would be appreciated.

Duplicate of #10612, but the fix described in 10612 didn't take care of the problem for me.

Fixed in CVS now. 
I assume you used the builtin mysql libs instead
of the external ones.
