With the latest cvs (13/01/2001) and configure line

'./configure' '--with-apache=../apache_1.3.17' '--with-mysql=/opt/mysql'

generates a bad LIBS line:
LIBS=-lmysqlclient -l-L/usr/local/lib -lglib -lresolv -lresolv -lm -ldl -lcrypt -lnsl -lsocket  -lsocket -lgcc

Had to remove an extra '-l' preceding the backticked
call to glib-config:
