DBM functions seem not to work correctly on Win32 (PHP/Apache). The problem probably has to do with with unix/dos ascii file EOL identifiers. I've tried the same code on another server with PHP/Apache installed on Linux and it works correctly there.

I forgot to specify in my original comment that the problematic format in question is flatfile.

I'm no longer running PHP - or any other software - under Windows so this bug isn't relevant to me anymore. Somebody still running PHP in Windows environment might give this a shot.

Let's bogus this one then. If someone else has the
problems with latest PHP releases, they should report
the bug themselves. (You propably don't want to get dozens of emails about this.. :)
