Only the first results set can be retrieved.
This greatly limit the use of cursor.

mssql_fetch_object($result,$set)  //$set may help.

mssql_query can be used to execute miltible SQL statements but only one record set will be returned.

You can split multible statements into separete calls to mssql_query and get a result for each statement.
